David and Tom Rooney
The Rooneys run a large Vermont farm--over 600 acres. Their horses have their annual workout in the spring, during the sugar season. The syrup they make on their high, hilly sugarbush is some of the best in Vermont.

Although Tom Rooney was killed in the Sugarbush, David's wife Charlene now shares the farming.
