Drive-by Shooting, San Francisco
"Wonder what the
brother did so bad to someone that someone had to do him. Look at the
cloths he was wearin'. He looks like he was either a baller or he was
out there sellin' or he had money on him. Ah man he just made a mistake.
Then I think, damn maybe I'm blessed, lucky to be in here (jail) tonight.
Sometimes I walk the streets too. I walk the street a lot but I don't
bother nobody. I don't sell no drugs. But I be drinkin'. Sometimes panhandle
to get money. Sometimes people be askin' you for something. You know,
they're homeless, you homeless. I don't know. The brother got waves
in his hair so he had to be havin' some money. Maybe he robbed a dope
dealer. Or maybe he owed a dope dealer. It's sad though, damn, see that
brother gone. Lord have mercy. Sad situation."
