"What you're seeing is a
plea bargain. The defendant is obviously not very happy. Some people would refer
to this look as the mad dog look - that is what is referred to on the streets. The
look of a mad dog just before they jump. Some would describe her look as a look
of frustration, resignation. But I would suggest these are probably all common human
feelings when someone's going to plead guilty and by their plea of guilty put themselves
in jail. It's a common look. Rarely is it a situation where anybody is happy when
they're in the criminal justice system and certainly in the court room."
